About Me

I'm Ameir Al-Zoubi, an iPhone, Mac and web developer and founder of Batoul Apps. I live in Raleigh, NC with my beautiful wife Taiyyaba. When I'm not developing software I like to read science fiction (particularly Isaac Asimov and Orson Scott Card), watch Star Trek re-runs and go skiing when the opportunity presents itself. Projects

My latest projects are Quran Reader for the iPhone & iPod touch and Quran Reader HD for iPad, elegant apps that allow you to interact with the Quran like never before as you read, listen to and study the beautiful words of the Quran.

My other projects include Guidance, a prayer times app for the Mac, Guidance for iPhone and Supplications, a dua reference application for the iPhone. I also collaborated with Bandar Raffah to make QamarDeen, an Islamic behavior tracking app, and Saudi Matches, the all-in-one app for soccer in Saudi Arabia. In addition to those, I worked with my good friend Dr. Firas Naji to develop the medical reference apps Medical Spanish and Medical French as well as the handy reference Conversational Spanish.
