The Nimr Music Server

The Nimr Music server allows you to access your music remotely. At the office and forgot your iPod? No worries, just type in the url for your home machine and Nimr lets you access your music from anywhere.
 
While still very much a work in progress the Nimr Music Server contains PHP scripts that will index your music library, read in the id3 tags using getID3() and creates a ready-made website for you to access your music. It inserts your indexed library into a MySQL table, making browsing and searching by artist, album, genre or song name fast and efficient. It is able to recognize album collections, display album art and has options to download a song or just listen to it.
