My current focus is on writting Mac apps and I am also dabbling in writting some apps for the iPhone using the newly released iPhone SDK. I also have an iPhone Web App written in Javascript as well as my Nimr Music Server thats written in PHP and uses a MySQL back end and an HTML/CSS front end. Guidance - Prayer Times for Mac OS X

Guidance, a prayer times application for Mac OS X. Designed to be simple and elegant, Guidance sits in the menu bar and shows a countdown until the next prayer time. When it's time for prayer, Guidance displays a Growl notification and plays the adhan. Guidance stays out of the way while providing you with current prayer time information.

Prayer Times - iPhone Web App

The Prayer Times web app uses the same basic principle and calculation method as Guidance and allows you to enter in any location and it will show the prayer times for that location. Written in Javascript and using Ajax, the prayer times web app is optimized for use on the iPhone to help you know when its to pray wherever you are. Because this is only a web app, there is no way for it to alert you when it is time to pray or play the adhan, for that functionality on the iPhone, stay tuned for Guidance Mobile.

Nimr Music Server

The Nimr Music server allows you to access your music remotely. At the office and forgot your iPod? No worries, just type in the url for your home machine and Nimr lets you access your music from anywhere.
 
While still very much a work in progress the Nimr Music Server contains PHP scripts that will index your music library, read in the id3 tags using getID3() and creates a ready-made website for you to access your music. It inserts your indexed library into a MySQL table, making browsing and searching by artist, album, genre or song name fast and efficient. It is able to recognize album collections, display album art and has options to download a song or just listen to it. The Nimr Music Server Project Page
